Job summary

Lenzing Group in Istanbul, Türkiye invites Textile experts for the role of Technical Customer Service Manager Türkiye, CIS, Africa. You will support customers across Turkey, Africa and CIS at primary, secondary & tertiary levels with a focus on dyeing and finishing.

You will collaborate with textile machinery partners, support events, and contribute to building the team with training and development. Strong English (B2) required; German desirable.

Qualifications

• Degree in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering or a similar field.
• Minimum 7 years of technical experience in textile production, esp. dyeing & finishing.
• Strong knowledge of textile machinery and the textiles market.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform analytical testing.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Good English level (B2); German skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical customer support across Türkiye, Africa and CIS for Lenzing fibers.
• Explain fiber properties and build strong customer relationships.
• Collaborate with textile machinery and chemical industry partners.
• Support technical events and training development.
• Work with Sales, BD, Marketing and local agents to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Investigate fiber quality issues and support claim resolution.
• Provide technical information for new concepts and cross-functional activities.

For the area of Commercial Textiles located out of Istanbul, Türkiye we invite Textile experts to submit applications for the role as Technical Customer Service Manager Türkiye, CIS, Africa.

Purpose & key responsibilities of the role

This position will provide support to customers across Turkey, Africa and CIS at a primary, secondary & tertiary level with a main focus on dyeing & finishing.

• You will provide technical customer support regarding processing all Lenzing fibers, explaining their properties while building strong customer relationships and understanding customer needs.
• You will collaborate with textile machinery and chemical industry partners, support technical events, and contribute to building up the team with additional training and development.
• You will work closely with Sales, Business Development, Marketing teams, and local agents to ensure customer satisfaction.
• You will investigate fiber quality issues, support claim resolution, and provide technical expertise for customer complaints.
• You will support and optimize communication tools, CRM systems, databases, and quality management processes.
• You will generate technical information to support new concepts, applications, and cross-functional customer service activities.
• You will assist customers with product development, trials, new applications, and laboratory testing related to technical inquiries and complaints.

Your ideal profile for this exciting role

• You hold a degree in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering or similar field.
• You have at least 7 years of technical experience in textile production, especially in dyeing & finishing technologies with basic knowledge of spinning, weaving and knitting.
• You have considerable knowledge of textile machinery and the textiles market.
• You are capable of trouble shooting, having the knowledge of and performing analytical testing.
• You have effective communication and negotiation skilles
• You have good English level (B2), German skills are desirable.
