CHERY Türkiye is seeking a seasoned Spare Parts Operations Manager to oversee parts orders, warehouse activities, pricing, and dealer onboarding across the Turkish market. You will drive KPIs, coordinate with HQ, and lead new product launches to ensure optimal availability and service levels.

Job description

To supervise and manage spare parts operations at Chery Türkiye, ensuring high service levels, optimal parts availability, and efficient inventory management across the dealer network.

The position is responsible for ensuring the effective and accurate execution of spare parts operations in the Turkish market, while working closely with dealers, logistics service providers, and Chery headquarters to support the development and implementation of the local and regional Aftersales strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate spare parts orders, order tracking, and related logistics flows.
• Manage and monitor the operations of the spare parts warehouse in coordination with the logistics service provider, ensuring achievement of key KPIs including service level, stock depth, parts availability, delivery quality, delivery lead time, claim rate, and other operational indicators.
• Establish, monitor, and report on spare parts department performance targets and KPIs.
• Oversee local pricing of spare parts and accessories, ensuring consistency with commercial objectives and Chery Türkiye's overall strategy.
• Lead the preparation and launch of new spare parts and accessory product ranges, ensuring timely availability and successful introduction to the dealer network.
• Support new dealer onboarding by coordinating their initial orders for spare parts, accessories, and special tools.
• Define and monitor sales targets for spare parts and accessories in cooperation with the dealer network and relevant commercial teams.
• Analyze dealer network performance in terms of orders, sales, parts availability, and order fulfillment rates, and develop corrective action plans where required.
• Support the preparation of demand forecasts, procurement plans, and local spare parts purchasing plans for the Turkish market in coordination with Chery headquarters.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels, identifying potential overstock and stock-out risks and implementing appropriate corrective actions.
• Supervise the processing and control of spare parts invoices, ensuring administrative and financial documentation is accurate and compliant.
• Monitor and resolve dealer claims and complaints related to parts availability, ordering, delivery, and quality.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external service providers to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of spare parts operations.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports and operational analyses for management and Chery headquarters.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to improve operational efficiency, service quality, dealer satisfaction, and customer experience.
• Maintain regular communication with Chery headquarters and support the implementation of global and regional Aftersales standards, processes, and strategies in the Turkish market.
• Provide guidance and operational support to team members and relevant stakeholders, ensuring effective coordination and execution of spare parts activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience in automotive spare parts, aftersales, or related operations, preferably with an OEM, importer, distributor, or dealer network.
• Previous experience in team supervision, service provider management, or operational leadership is strongly preferred.
• Fluent Turkish and excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Chinese is considered an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI management, inventory planning, demand forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Strong customer and results orientation, with the ability to support, guide, and challenge the dealer network when required.
• Strong sense of ownership, leadership, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to take initiative, solve problems independently, and develop practical, customer-oriented solutions.
