Job summary

Randstad Türkiye is on the lookout for a Modern Trade Head to spearhead our commercial transformation efforts in Fatih. In this strategic leadership role, you will orchestrate growth strategies and maximize profitability in line with our global vision.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in Customer Management and Key Accounts in the FMCG sector, coupled with strong leadership skills and expertise in E-Commerce management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of solid experience in Customer Management and Key Accounts within the FMCG sector.
• Minimum 5+ years of proven people leadership experience.
• Advanced, business-level fluency in written and verbal English.

Job description

We are seeking a visionary, high-caliber, and growth-oriented Modern Trade Head to drive our commercial transformation and lead our entire Modern Trade organization. In this critical leadership role, you will define and execute the short‑ and long‑term business strategies, orchestrate the growth agenda, and maximize profitability in alignment with our long‑term global vision.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: develop, implement, and own the end‑to‑end commercial strategy and business plans for all Modern Trade channels.
• Commercial Excellence: shape and execute robust pricing strategies, promotion matrix designs, mix management, and trade investments to guarantee product profitability and market share growth.
• People Leadership Team Development: lead, develop, and inspire a high‑performing team of 5 direct reports (3 Key Account Managers, 1 E‑Commerce KAM, 1 KA Analyst). Own recruitment, talent development, performance management, and associate engagement initiatives.
• Financial Budget Ownership: achieve demanding financial objectives by preparing annual budgets, managing expenditures, analyzing variances, and driving key P&L parameters.
• Global Regional Collaboration: actively collaborate with regional and global teams to foster cross‑functional synergy, explore new market opportunities, and align local execution with global strategy.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
• Experience: 10+ years of solid experience in Customer Management and Key Accounts within the FMCG sector.
• Leadership: Minimum 5+ years of proven people leadership experience with a strong track record of building and motivating highly effective teams.
• Channel E‑Commerce Expertise: Extensive background in large‑scale client management; hands‑on experience in managing E‑Commerce and Omni‑channel platforms is highly preferred.
• Language Skills: Advanced, business-level fluency in written and verbal English is mandatory (Assessment Center will be conducted fully in English).
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially expert-level Excel and PowerPoint.
• Key Competencies: Strategic agility, decision quality, commercial acumen, breakthrough thinking, agility, and visible leadership.
