Job summary

OLKA Sports Equipment Trade Inc. in Türkiye seeks an experienced Learning & Development leader to shape and drive talent development and onboarding across the organization.

You will design blended programs, mentor high-potential employees, and partner with business leaders to build capabilities aligned with corporate priorities. With at least 8 years in L&D or OD roles in retail, you will implement scalable learning journeys, measure impact, and promote continuous learning culture.

Qualifications

• Mandatory experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Talent Management or Organizational Development roles.
• Mandatory experience in the retail sector.
• Strong knowledge of modern learning methodologies and adult learning principles.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Experience in multi-site retail organizations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support and implement the learning and talent development strategy in line with business priorities and capability needs.
• Identify organizational development priorities and translate them into relevant, engaging and scalable learning experiences.
• Design and deliver technical, functional, behavioral and leadership development programs through a blended learning approach.
• Create development journeys for high-potential employees and future leaders, supported by mentoring, coaching and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Contribute to talent management, career development and succession planning processes across the organization.
• Own and continuously enhance the onboarding experience, enabling new employees to connect quickly with the organization, culture and their roles.
• Partner with business leaders and HR teams on capability building and individual development and team effectiveness.
• Promote a strong culture of continuous learning, collaboration and ownership of personal development.
• Build and manage relationships with external learning partners, consultants and subject-matter experts.
• Evaluate the impact of learning and talent initiatives and continuously improve programs based on insights, feedback and business outcomes.

OLKA Sports Equipment Trade Inc. has been proudly serving customers in Türkiye as the distributor of Skechers since 2011, under 100% Turkish ownership. With more than 80 stores and an extensive wholesale network, we reach customers across the country and employ more than 1,500 people within our group. • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development or a related field; a master’s degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Talent Management or Organizational Development roles.
• Mandatory experience in the retail sector.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing learning, leadership development and talent programs.
• Strong knowledge of modern learning methodologies, adult learning principles and blended learning solutions.
• Hands-on experience with talent development, mentoring, coaching, career development and succession planning initiatives.
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with strong execution and manage multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
• Ability to partner effectively with business leaders and HR teams on capability building and employee development.
• A data-informed mindset with the ability to evaluate learning effectiveness and translate insights into improvement actions.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Experience in multi-site retail organizations is an advantage.
