Job summary

Swissôtel The Bosphorus, a top Accor luxury hotel in Istanbul, seeks a reservations specialist to manage inquiries, quotes, and bookings with accuracy. You will assist guests, explain room types, rates, and facilities, and process changes in the hotel management system.

This role emphasizes guest satisfaction and revenue growth through upselling opportunities. Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years in reservations or customer service, strong English skills, and familiarity with Opera.

Qualifications

• Degree in Hospitality, Tourism or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in reservations or guest services.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of hotel reservation systems, especially Opera.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online.
• Provide guests with information on room types, rates, facilities, and promotions.
• Process, modify, and cancel reservations accurately in the hotel system.
• Upsell rooms, packages, and services to increase revenue.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability and pricing.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping and Sales to ensure smooth service.
• Respond professionally to guest inquiries and complaints.
• Prepare reservation reports and maintain guest records.
• Support group bookings and corporate accounts when needed.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and service standards.
