Job summary

Swissôtel The Bosphorus Istanbul is seeking an experienced sales professional to organize and execute sales programs; visit clients to generate demand and drive revenue for meetings, conferences and events.

You will develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with Operations, Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping and other departments to ensure flawless event delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Convention & Events, Catering Sales, or Hotel Sales.
• Strong knowledge of meetings, conferences, banquets, and event operations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Customer-oriented with strong relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM and hotel sales systems preferred.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Handling inquiries for meetings, conferences, weddings, and group bookings

• Maintaining relationships with corporate clients, agencies and planners
• Negotiating rates and terms while maintaining profitability
• Maintaining CRM and sales records; preparing forecasts and market analyses
• Attending networking events and client meetings to promote the hotel
