Job summary

Swissôtel The Bosphorus, Istanbul is seeking an experienced Sales professional to lead convention and events, catering, and hotel sales efforts. You will develop corporate client relationships, coordinate with operations, and drive revenue through meetings, conferences, and social events.

The role requires strong negotiations, excellent English, and the ability to manage multiple events with precise attention to client needs and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, tourism, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of meetings, conferences, banquets, and event operations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Customer-oriented with strong relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM/ hotel sales systems preferred.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Organize and execute sales call programs; visit existing and potential clients to generate demand.
• Develop knowledge of competitors’ products and market conditions to identify opportunities.
• Plan, coordinate, train, and support teams to meet service standards for events.
• Handle inquiries for meetings, conferences, weddings, and group bookings from initial contact to contract signing.
• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and event planners.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and quotations tailored to clients' needs.
• Coordinate with operations and other departments to ensure successful event execution.
• Maintain CRM records, prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
• Attend networking events and trade shows to promote the hotel.
