Job summary

TEMSA, a leading global bus and midibus manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Exterior Trim Engineer to design and develop trim components for new vehicle platforms. You will create 3D models and 2D drawings, select materials, and perform tolerance analyses in collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Mechatronics Engineering, at least 5 years in exterior trim, and strong CAD skills (CATIA V5/V6, NX, SolidWorks).

Qualifications

• Graduate of Mechanical, Automotive or Mechatronics Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of exterior trim development experience
• Experience on OEM or Tier-1 automotive projects
• CAD tools proficiency: CATIA V5/V6, NX, SolidWorks
• Experience with aluminum, composite and plastic exterior trim
• International project experience preferred
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Willing to live in Adana

Responsibilities

• Design and develop exterior trim components for new vehicle platforms
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings in CAD environment
• Material selection and optimization (plastic, glass, metal, composite, etc.)
• Perform GD&T and tolerance analyses for trim parts
• Prepare DFMEA, DVP, TTK, test procedures and technical specifications
• Coordinate with domestic and foreign suppliers
• Prototype production, testing and validation
• Coordinate with design, production, quality and testing teams
• Track cost, weight and time plan in line with program objectives
• Provide technical support during mass production (SOP) and launch

What is the job waiting for you?

• Design and development of exterior trim components for new vehicle platforms
• Designing trim parts according to ergonomic, aesthetic and functional requirements
• Creating 3D models and 2D technical drawings in a CAD environment
• Material selection and optimization studies (plastic, glass, metal, composite, etc.)
• Performing GD&T and tolerance analyses for trim parts
• Preparing DFMEA, DVP, TTK, test procedure and technical specification documents
• Managing technical coordination and part development processes with domestic and foreign suppliers
• Conducting prototype production, testing and validation studies
• Coordination with design, production, quality and testing teams in the vehicle development process
• Tracking cost, weight and time plan in line with program objectives
• Providing technical support during mass production (SOP) and launch processes

What we are looking for?

• Graduate of Mechanical, Automotive or Mechatronics Engineering departments of universities
• Minimum 5 years of experience in exterior trim development in the automotive sector,
• Experienced in OEM or Tier-1 automotive projects,
• Knowledge of CAD tools: CATIA V5 / V6 (NX, SolidWorks),
• Executing design and production processes in accordance with company engineering criteria and schedule,
• Experienced in electric and internal combustion engine commercial vehicle platforms,
• Experienced in aluminum, composite and plastic exterior trim design,
• Experienced in part geometry and tolerance analysis,
• Preferably with international project experience,
• Strong problem-solving skills,
• Technical communication and teamwork skills,
• Proactive and results-oriented,
• Possessing an aesthetic sense and innovative perspective.
• Willing to live in Adana,
