Job summary

TEMSA is seeking an experienced Automotive Interior Design Engineer to lead interior trim development for current and new bus models. You will create 3D models, technical drawings, and documentation while aligning with the brand’s design language.

Ideal applicants have 5+ years in interior engineering, strong CATIA/NX/SolidWorks skills, and an ability to collaborate across functions. Location preference includes Adana or Istanbul, with opportunity for growth within TEMSA and the Sabancı Group.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in automotive interior engineering design or trim.
• Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering from university.
• Knowledge of interior design, ergonomics, materials, and production processes.

Responsibilities

• Design interior trim for new and existing vehicle models and ensure correct implementation.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new designs.
• Create aesthetically pleasing and functional trim concepts.
• Select materials and colors aligned with brand and audience.
• Evaluate material properties including fire safety and hygiene.
• Ensure ergonomic assembly and disassembly of parts.
• Assess interior lighting, ventilation, noise, and comfort factors.
• Determine suitable production methods for trim parts.
• Create 3D models and detailed drawings.
• Produce documentation from the design process.
• Define trim parts for off-site use per standards.
