Job summary

ABB is seeking a Procurement professional to identify and qualify suppliers, design local sourcing plans, and manage supplier performance. You will collaborate with category teams, supplier quality, and engineering to optimize costs and delivery while ensuring compliance with ABB procedures and SAP Ariba.

English and Turkish fluency are required. Role requires at least 5 years in procurement, a Bachelor’s in Engineering (Industrial/Electrical), and experience with supplier negotiations and bid

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial and/or Electrical).
Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or related field.
Certified Procurement & Supply Chain preferable.
Industrial sector knowledge, preferably electrical switchgear.

Responsibilities

Identify new suppliers in cooperation with category teams and qualify them with supplier quality and engineering specialists.
Design and implement plans for local sourcing to reach business targets.
Negotiate agreements with main suppliers and manage bids, renew pricelists and terms.
Process POs per requisitions and ensure delivery commitments and supplier performance.
Maintain SAP Ariba platform updates and compliance with ABB policies and tools.
