Job summary

ABB in Türkiye seeks a Sales Support Engineer to back the sales team by identifying cost-effective, technically suitable solutions and coordinating with internal teams on complex offers. You will lead the development of technical/commercial offers per customer specs and participate in meetings and negotiations.

Based in Dilovası, you will support contract negotiations and handovers, with potential international travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Electrical & Electronics acceptable).
• Minimum 2 years’ MV switchgear experience; MV systems and switchgear design/sales preferred.
• Ability to read technical specs and prepare datasheets for MV gear.
• Experience in contractual negotiations and clarifications is preferred.
• Fluent in English and Turkish; French/Arabic a plus; willing to travel internationally.
• Based in Dilovası or nearby Kocaeli/Istanbul Anatolian Side.

Your Role And Responsibilities

• Support the sales team and customers by identifying cost-effective, technically suitable solutions and contributing to complex offer preparations
• Provide technical consultation in meetings, presentations, and negotiations, ensuring accurate communication of technical details
• Lead the development of technical/commercial offers per customer specifications, coordinating with relevant internal teams
• Manage contract negotiations in line with ABB terms, analyze lost opportunities, and support project handovers and improvements

Qualifications For The Role

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• At least 2 years of experience in MV switchgear business; experience with MV systems and switchgear design/sales is preferred
• Skilled in reading technical specifications, preparing deviation lists, and completing datasheets for MV switchgears
• Experience in contractual negotiations and technical clarifications is preferred
• Fluent in English and Turkish (proficiency in French or Arabic is a plus); proficient in MS Office; culturally adaptable and open to international travel
• Based in Dilovası – Candidates residing between Kocaeli and Istanbul Anatolian Side are encouraged to apply.
