Job summary

ABB is seeking a field service technician in Turkey to perform service tasks, installations, maintenance, and upgrades at customer sites, following ABB processes and safety guidelines. You will ensure high-quality service and accurate reporting of work completed.

Ideal candidates have a vocational/associate degree in electrical/electronics, at least 2 years of service experience, Turkish language proficiency, and intermediate English.

Qualifications

• Vocational school or associate degree in electrical/electronics is required.
• Minimum 2 years of service technician experience in manufacturing or electrical industry.
• Turkish language is must; English proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute service work according to ABB workflows and safety guidelines.
• Deliver excellent customer service and satisfaction.
• Perform service tasks and diagnose issues during on-site or remote activities across installation, maintenance, upgrades, retrofits, and end-of-life services.
• Maintain good customer relationships and understand their needs.

This position reports to:

Field Service Manager

The work model for the role is: {onsite}

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Execute Service work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines,
• Deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers,
• Performs Service tasks, identifies technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on-site activity in any Service categories (installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, advanced services, extensions, upgrades and retrofits, end of life services, replacements, etc.),
• Creates and maintains a good relationship with customers and understands their needs,
• Coordinates, prepares and ensures that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for Service activities,
• Prepares all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative,
• Reports work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed,
• Applies safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities,
• Reports unsafe practices and incidents.

Qualifications For The Role

• Vocational school or associate degree with electrical/electronics,
• At least 2 years of service technician experience in manufacturing or electrical industry,
• Knowledge of frequency convertors basics. Intermediate English skills, Turkish language is must,
• MS Office Skills is a must,
• Dynamic and enthusiastic profile with continuous-development mindset,
• Flexibility and quick adaption to frequent scheduling updates,
• Up to 70% travel required,
• Current car driving license (type B)
