Job summary

Schaeffler Turkey Endüstri ve Otomotiv Ticaret Limited Sirketi seeks a procurement professional to identify Turkish suppliers, manage RFQ requests, and coordinate with European divisions. The candidate should hold a degree in engineering or related fields, have at least 5 years of procurement experience, and be fluent in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Experience with RFQ processes and supplier communications is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and related platforms.
• Strong communication and coordination skills; fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Identify suppliers on the Turkish market according to SCHAEFFLER Group needs.
• Initiate preliminary communication with local suppliers by sending necessary documents.
• Issue price quotation requests to selected suppliers.
• Follow up on RFQ requests and address clarifications.
• Collaborate with divisions and European plants on local supplier management.
• Travel to suppliers with colleagues from divisions and units.
