Job summary
A compliance firm in Singapore is seeking a professional for compliance checks at protected areas and sensitive locations. The role requires strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills, along with prior audit/compliance and law enforcement experience. Candidates must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents. The position demands preparing detailed compliance reports and may involve lodging police reports for compliance lapses.
Qualifications
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- May require a valid Private Investigator licence.
- 2+ years in audit/compliance and 2+ years in law enforcement preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct compliance checks at Protected Areas and Security Sensitive Locations.
- Prepare compliance reports detailing observations and outcomes.
- Lodge Police reports for compliance lapses as directed.
Skills
- Conduct compliance checks at Protected Areas, Protected Places (PAPPs), and Security Sensitive Locations (SSLs) using prescribed checklists.
- Interview duty security personnel.
- Verify personnel authorization.
- Observe personnel capabilities and competencies.
- Prepare compliance reports detailing observations and outcomes (Compliant/Not Compliant).
- Lodge Police reports for compliance lapses as directed.
- Perform other duties related to compliance checks as assigned.
- Follow all rules communicated by the Contractor, Supervisor, or Authority.
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- May require a valid Private Investigator licence.
- Must demonstrate: confidentiality, strong English communication, observation and analytical skills, report writing, organizational and project management skills, computer proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), ability to work under pressure, independently and in teams.
- Preferably 2+ years in audit/compliance and 2+ years in law enforcement.
- Experience with the Singapore Police Force or other law enforcement agencies.
- Must not have held a Security Officer licence in the past year or during contract.
- No business connections or vested interests in any Security Agency (SA) for 2 years before or during contract.
