The aircon technician will be involved in the maintenance, repair and installation of different types of air conditioning systems.
Aircon Technician will be involved in performing general maintenance services in households and offices all across Singapore, including washing aircons, diagnosing and rectifying issues in all brands and types of aircons, installing and dismantling aircons.This role has the following responsibilities:
- Dismantle malfunctioning systems and replace worn out or defective parts.
- Perform chemical washes and chemical overhauls.
- Perform repair and maintenance on malfunctioning air conditioners.
- Perform general maintenance services on normally-functioning air conditioners.
- Prepare service reports after every completed job.
- Keep record of job schedules.
- Pick up and deliver required materials and supplies as and when required.
- Communicate with clients with regards to problems in equipment and post-job reports.
- Perform any ad-hoc tasks given by supervisor or management.
This role requires the following skills:
- Possess a CLASS 3 and/or CLASS 2B Driving License in Singapore.
- Must be a confident driver and have experience driving medium-large sized vans.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working as an air conditioner technician performing chemical wash, general servicing, repairs and installation.
- Experience working in CENTRALISED AIRCON SYSTEM maintenance is a big advantage.
- Confident at carrying out repairs and cleaning on all common aircon brands for wall-mounted, ceiling, casement, ducted and portable aircons in Singapore including Daikin, Panasonic, Samsung, Mitsubishi Electric and Heavy Industries, Fujitsu, Toshiba, Carrier and Europace.
- Able to speak and write basic English (excellent English is a strong advantage)
- Knowledge of electrical wiring.
- Able to do some heavy lifting and climbing.
