Job summary
A manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a candidate to manage month-end costing runs, prepare financial reports, and support budgeting processes. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Business and has 3 years of cost accounting experience. Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Business or equivalent.
- 3 years of cost accounting experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
- Manage and complete month end costing run in a timely manner.
- Prepare monthly costing reports and variance analysis.
- Support annual budgeting and monthly rolling forecast process.
- Organise monthly stock take and perform stock reconciliation.
- Provide adhoc reports/analysis or participate in assignments.
Skills
Education
- Manage and complete month end costing run in a timely manner.
- Prepare monthly costing reports and variance analysis between actual result and budget/forecast.
- Prepare monthly financial packs for management reporting/meeting.
- Support annual budgeting and monthly rolling forecast process.
- Organise and co-ordinate monthly/half yearly stock take and perform stock reconciliation accurately and promptly.
- Analyse and support fund management budget related work and standard cost release.
- Support business units in cost analysis and cost control and improvement projects.
- Provide adhoc reports/analysis or/and involve in any adhoc assignment
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Business or equivalent qualifications
- 3years of cost accounting experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred
- Strong skills in Microsoft excel and power point
- Good communication and presentation skills
