A leading financial institution in Singapore is seeking a Vice President of Global Data Strategy and Governance for its Asset Wealth Management team. The role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive data strategy, managing data as an asset, and leading a cross-functional team focused on data insights. Ideal candidates should have at least 9 years of experience in Data Science and Information Management. The position supports collaboration across time zones and may require occasional travel.

The commitment to sustainability ensures the creation of long-term value for both internal and external clients.As a Vice President of Global Data Strategy and Governance within the Asset Wealth Management (AWM) team in Risk Management, your primary responsibility is to develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy and governance framework globally. This strategic role involves managing data as a valuable asset, transitioning credit risk to a data-driven organization, and utilizing business and artificial intelligence to shape the strategic data vision while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.Your key responsibilities include developing and implementing a global data strategy that aligns with organizational objectives, collaborating with stakeholders across various business lines to support the firm's data agenda, influencing senior leaders through data intelligence, leading a cross-functional team focused on data, reporting, insights, and analysis, aligning data strategy with business units and stakeholders, setting governance standards for data sourcing and use, implementing data management tools and technologies, and showcasing intellectual curiosity.Qualifications and skills required for this role include at least 9 years of experience in Data Science and Information Management within a corporate setting, strategic thinking and planning capabilities, knowledge and experience with business and artificial intelligence, data analytics, and reporting tools, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication and interpersonal abilities to engage stakeholders of all levels, project management expertise, and proficiency in relationship building.Additionally, this position may involve collaborating with remote teams in different time zones and may require occasional travel.,
