Job summary
A recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking a finance professional to oversee all accounting functions and lead the finance team. The ideal candidate should have a degree in accounting and at least 7 years of experience in the construction engineering sector. Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire spectrum of accounting functions.
- Maintain detailed records of outstanding invoices.
- Ensure full compliance with local and federal financial regulations.
- Organize and maintain accurate financial documents.
- Conduct regular reviews of financial transactions.
- Lead and manage the finance team.
Education
- Full Set Accounts: Oversee the entire spectrum of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of all financial activities.
- Invoice Management: Maintain detailed records of outstanding invoices and proactively follow up with vendors and internal teams to ensure prompt payments.
- Regulatory Compliance: Keep updated with company policies as well as local, state, and federal financial regulations to ensure full compliance at all times.
- Financial Recordkeeping: Ensure all financial documents—such as receipts, invoices, and reports—are accurate, organized, and properly maintained.
- Audit & Issue Resolution: Conduct regular reviews of financial transactions and accounts, quickly identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage the finance team by offering guidance, support, and mentorship to promote their development and overall performance.
- At least Degree in accounting related
- At least 7 years of working experience in construction engineering field is required for this position
