About the job Senior Accountant

We are looking for a highly motivated and self-driven Senior Accountant to deliver top-notch accounting and advisory services to our international clients across diverse industries. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of clients, providing expert financial advice, leading the accounting team, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting and regulatory standards. Beyond technical expertise, this position requires the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering customized solutions to meet each client's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Mentoring:
   
   • Supervise and coach Assistant Accountants, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures.
   • Provide on-the-job training to support the technical and professional development of the team.
2. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
   
   • Review and analyze monthly management accounts and supporting documentation for accuracy.
   • Prepare financial statements in line with SFRS and other international accounting standards.
3. Compliance and Taxation:
   
   • Review GST returns to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
   • Liaise with auditors and tax agents to facilitate smooth information exchange.
4. Client Relationship Management:
   
   • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring a positive and seamless client experience.
   • Build strong client relationships through proactive and constructive interactions.
5. Process Improvement:
   
   • Support process enhancement initiatives to improve the efficiency and quality of client deliverables.
   • Collaborate with both local and international teams to address client needs.
6. Ad-hoc Duties:
   
   • Assist with any additional duties as needed.

1. Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related professional qualification.
2. Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a senior role within an audit or accounting firm.
3. Strong knowledge of Singapore's accounting and tax regulations.
4. Advanced expertise in GST regulations and e-filing processes.
5. Proficient in MS Excel, with knowledge of XERO, SAP, and/or NetSuite considered an advantage.
6. Friendly and approachable team player with excellent communication and client service skills.
7. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive under pressure.
8. Ambition and capability to grow into a management role over time.
