Job summary

A leading company in the drilling sector is seeking an experienced finance professional in Singapore. The candidate will manage accounts, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with Singapore's financial regulations. Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full set of accounts, including oversight of invoicing, receipting, and vendor invoice processing.
  • Handle supplier payments, journal entries, intercompany charges, bank reconciliations, and maintenance of the fixed asset register.
  • Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring timely completion of journal entries and closure of accounts receivable/payable.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate intercompany transactions.
  • Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and management reports.
  • Review and maintain all balance sheet schedules and control accounts for accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents for audits, tax filings, and statutory compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to financial reporting standards, tax regulations (e.g., GST), and other regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with the company secretary on matters of corporate governance and compliance.
  • Plan and monitor company cash flow, funding requirements, and budget allocations.
  • Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting activities.
  • Provide support to the Finance Department on ad hoc projects and administrative duties as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong foundation in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Solid understanding of Singapore’s financial regulations, tax laws (including GST), and compliance requirements.
  • Meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
