Workplace Safety Health Officer cum Environmental Control Officer (WSHO cum ECO)

• Work Location: Varies Construction Sites within Mainland Singapore
• Working Hours: Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm, Sat 8am - 12pm
• Monthly Salary: Basic up to $6500 + Variable Bonus (VB)
• Employment Type: Full time, Permanent Contract

Responsibility

• Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies through active monitoring and compliance checks.
• Conduct routine site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Lead Toolbox Meetings and Safety Committee sessions to strengthen safety culture and reinforce best practices.
• Prepare and submit incident reports, accident records, safety performance data, and inspection findings promptly to management and authorities.
• Implement and manage the Environmental Control Programme (ECP) in line with National Environment Agency (NEA) requirements.
• Oversee site environmental measures including housekeeping, waste management, mosquito control, and overall site cleanliness.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies such as the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), NEA, and other agencies to ensure compliance.
• Work closely with the Project Manager and site team to achieve safety objectives and maintain required certifications.
• Deliver safety induction training for new employees and subcontractors to ensure awareness of site-specific protocols.
• Monitor and enforce proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all site personnel.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 year of relevant working experiences in construction industry
• Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) by MOM
• Registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO) with NEA
• Possess own transport and willing to travel to various project sites within Mainland Singapore
• Candidate who can start immediately or within short notice will be preferred
