Job summary

A leading wine distributor in Singapore is seeking a Sales Executive to implement sales strategies and engage with clients in the wine industry. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of related experience and extensive wine knowledge. Responsibilities include managing customer accounts, developing training programs, and supporting wine events. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to business development are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience and extensive knowledge of wine is required.
  • WSET certification is preferred.
  • Target driven with a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities.
  • Strong track record of building and maintaining a customer base.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player with attention to detail.

  • Implement sales strategies to achieve targets.

Overview

You will work closely with the Wine Manager and sales team to execute sales strategies, achieve revenue targets, generate new leads and direct customers interaction.


Responsibilities


  • Implement sales strategies to achieve targets

  • Confidently engage with a wide range of clients

  • Support after sales to retain and grow customer accounts

  • Stay updated on industry trends and continuously enhance wine knowledge, sales strategies and approach

  • Develop and deliver training program for clients to grow wine knowledge and sales

  • Organise and support wine events, tastings and promotions

  • Managing end-to-end sales process including timely collection of payment


Qualifications


  • Minimum 5 years of related experience and extensive knowledge of wine is required

  • WSET certification is preferred

  • Target driven and proactively identify pursuing new business opportunities

  • Strong track record of customer base being built up will be advantageous

  • Great communication skills with positive, interpersonal skills

  • A team player with a good sense of job responsibility and a keen eye for details
