Job description

Job Scope

• Perform regular inspections, maintenance and servicing of wastewater treatment equipment and systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with wastewater treatment systems, and implement corrective actions
• Monitor and analyse wastewater treatment performance data to identify opportunities for optimisation
• Ensure wastewater treatment operations comply with all relevant environmental regulations and standards
• Collaborate with the engineering team to implement system upgrades and enhancements
• Provide technical support and training to operations staff on wastewater treatment best practices
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of all servicing and maintenance activities

Requirements

• Professional Certificate/NiTEC Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Experience in wastewater treatment system servicing and maintenance is a plus
• Strong working knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, equipment and compliance requirements
• Posses of Class 3 driving license or Class 2 is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
• Willingness to work in a hands‑on, field‑based environment and perform physical tasks
