Job summary

A leading aviation service provider in Singapore is seeking a Warehouse Operative to pick and pack goods, ensuring adherence to quality procedures and maintaining a clean environment. Candidates should possess Nitec, be able to work in shifts, and ideally have forklift experience. This role requires strong prioritization skills and the ability to work in a team. Training provided for candidates without prior experience.

Qualifications

• Basic Microsoft office / Google suite skills.
• Preferably with forklift license or experienced in driving forklift or reach truck.
• Candidates with relevant aviation knowledge & hands on experience in ERP will have an advantage.
• Willing to work in different shift patterns.
• Service minded, able to multi-task, thorough, tidy, and able to cooperate in a team.
• Basic IT, literacy, and numeracy skills.

Job description

Job Objectives

To pick and pack goods in order of priority and maintain location of parts in the Warehouse in accordance with Satair Operating Procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Adhere to all documented Company Quality System procedures when carrying out operational duties.
• Conduct picking of orders in the correct priority sequence.
• Ensure all picking is confirmed in the system and paste the label on the parts correctly.
• Ensure all pick and pack system transactions are performed correctly.
• Ensure all documents printed are in order by sorting them before packing/box closure.
• Put stock away in the correct location after picking and/or packing.
• Comply to packing regulations for all Dangerous goods.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment is maintained at all times.
• Endeavour to improve quality of work wherever possible.
• Inform the Manager/Team Leader of any process errors or system issues in a timely manner.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Assist the Warehouse Management with any reasonable adhoc request.
• To operate cross functionally across the Warehouse functions.
• To assist Receiving and other warehouse activities.
• Carry out stock checks when requested.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
