Vice President, Corporate Finance:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing a diverse range of corporate finance transactions, including capital raising, M&A and strategic advisory mandates. This role involves leading a team of junior associates, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Execution
  • Lead end-to-end execution of corporate finance transactions, focusing mainly on equity capital market fundraising and M&A as well as strategic advisory projects.
  • Oversee preparation of financial models, valuation analyses, pitch books, and transaction documentation.
  • Coordinate due diligence processes, liaising with internal teams, clients, and external advisors (legal, tax, auditors).
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management standards.
Team Leadership
  • Manage and mentor a team of junior associates, providing guidance on all aspects of transaction execution.
  • Review and approve work outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, encouraging professional development.
Client Engagement
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients during transaction execution.
  • Support senior management in maintaining and developing client relationships.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders.
Strategic Contribution
  • Contribute to business development efforts by supporting origination activities and preparing proposals.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and execution quality.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
  • SGX Registered Professional and MAS CMS qualified.
  • Prior experience (at least 8 years) in corporate finance, investment banking or related advisory roles.
  • Strong technical skills in financial modelling, transaction structuring and execution.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication in English. Ability to communicate effectively with clients/stakeholders in relevant Asian languages (e.g. Mandarin, Bahasa) is required for work‑related purposes.
