About the role

This exciting role as a Sales Manager (Project Sales/Industrial/Infrastructure) will see you driving the sales process for large-scale projects with our client. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for winning new business/projects and managing complex sales cycles to support the company's strategic growth objectives. This full-time position offers the opportunity to utilize your deep industry expertise and exceptional sales skills within a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

What you'll be doing
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities for major projects in the mechanical/industrial engineering industry
  • Lead the sales process from initial engagement through to contract negotiation and closure
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts
  • Collaborate closely with the technical, project delivery, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Closely monitor the competitive landscape and industry trends to develop winning sales strategies
  • Accurately forecast sales pipeline and revenue, providing transparent reporting to leadership
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and tools
What we're looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working on Industrial or Infrastructure projects from a technical or sales perspective.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, high-value projects, exceeding $450k and achieving sales targets
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, products, and applications
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to effectively engage with C-suite stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build trusted relationships
  • Proficient in using CRM and sales enablement tools to drive efficiency and productivity
  • Passion for delivering innovative solutions that create value for customers
