Job summary

A tutoring service provider in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Tutor to deliver engaging lessons to primary and secondary students. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in any discipline and be able to teach subjects like Math, Science, or Chemistry. No prior experience is required, as training will be provided. The position involves maintaining a positive learning environment and assisting with center operations. Working days are six days a week, with weekends available for lessons.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum diploma or degree in any discipline.
• Training provided for those without prior teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons based on the centre’s syllabus.
• Teach primary/secondary/JC students based on strengths.
• Provide feedback and updates to parents.
• Help prepare students for school exams.
• Maintain a positive and disciplined environment.
• Assist with simple centre operations as needed.

Skills

Able to teach at least one subject confidently: Math

Able to teach at least one subject confidently: Science

Able to teach at least one subject confidently: Chemistry

Able to teach at least one subject confidently: Biology

Able to teach at least one subject confidently: Economics

Education

Minimum Diploma or Degree in any discipline

Job description

Tutor (1 to 1)
Working days: 6 days (off on Friday)
Working hours (Mon - Thurs): 11.30am - 7.30pm
Sat & Sun: 9.30 - 6.30pm
Salary range：$2300 - $3800 (Depend on qualifications/ experiences)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver 1 to 1 engaging lessons based on the centre’s syllabus and materials.
• Teach primary / secondary / JC students (level can be adjusted based on your strength).
• Provide feedback and simple progress updates to parents when needed.
• Help prepare students for school exams and major exams.
• Maintain a positive, encouraging and disciplined environment.
• Assist with simple centre operations (e.g. admin, arranging materials) when required.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in any discipline
• Able to teach at least one subject confidently: Math / Science / Chemistry / Biology / Economics
• No prior teaching experience required –training will be provided.
