Job summary

A leading research agency in Singapore is seeking a motivated Scientist for their Biotherapeutics Development group. The role involves characterising monoclonal antibodies and contributing to the therapeutics development pipeline. Candidates should have a PhD in Biomedical Science or relevant disciplines and practical experience in various methodologies including in vivo studies and molecular biology techniques. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively are essential. This position offers an opportunity to engage with industry partners and mentor interns.

Qualifications

  • PhD degree in Biomedical Science, Cancer Science, Immunology, or relevant disciplines.
  • Familiarity with requirements for selection of lead and hit candidates.
  • Interest in translational and applied aspects of research.

Responsibilities

  • Characterise and evaluate monoclonal antibodies for pre-clinical dossiers.
  • Contribute to therapeutics development pipeline.
  • Conduct in vivo studies like immunisations and tumour xenograft models.
  • Work in project teams with collaborators.
  • Mentor students and interns.
  • Prepare presentation slides and reports.
