Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive governance framework for the responsible and ethical use of generative AI (Gen-AI) technologies within DBS Bank's operations and service offerings.
• Establish policies, guidelines, and control measures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to Gen-AI deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, risk, compliance, and business units, to identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges associated with the use of Gen-AI.
• Provide subject matter expertise and advisory support to business leaders and project teams on the appropriate application of Gen-AI, including considerations around AI literacy, prompt engineering, and model interpretability.
• Lead the development and implementation of training programs to enhance the AI literacy of DBS Bank employees and promote a culture of responsible AI adoption.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging best practices in Gen-AI governance, and continuously update the bank's policies and practices to stay ahead of the curve.
• Represent DBS Bank in industry forums, regulatory dialogues, and external collaborations to contribute to the development of industry-wide standards and guidelines for Gen-AI governance.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in computer science, data science, or a related technical field, with a strong understanding of AI/ML principles and applications.
• Minimum 8‑10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective AI governance frameworks.
