The ideal candidate has relevant NITEC qualifications and experience with cabling systems. This role offers a salary range of $2500-$3500 with work hours from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience with installation, repair, and testing of cable systems.
• Ability to prepare and install cable pathways and supports.
• Class 3 driving license is a plus.

Job Description

• Install, repair, test & commission cable systems (voice / data / fibre optics)
• Performs termination and testing of new cabling
• Prepare / Install cable pathways & supports
• Assist in the preparation of tools & materials used for daily work assignments
• Troubleshoot cabling system issues & perform repairs & maintenance
• Assist co-workers with installation & routine maintenance of structured cabling systems
• Work closely with client to manage schedule operations of assigned duties

Requirements

• NITEC (Electrical Engineering / Electrical Technology / Electronic / IT ) or work- related experience
• Class 3 driving license would be advantageous
