About the role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Technician to join our dynamic team at Capital Human Resource Management Pte. Ltd. In this full‑time position, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operations of our manufacturing business in Macpherson. As a Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various equipment and machinery to ensure seamless production.
What you'll be doing
- Machinery Maintenance & Repair: Repair, adjust, fabricate, and perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and production accessories to ensure optimal performance.
- Operator Training & Supervision: Train and supervise machine operators in the correct and safe handling of machinery and equipment.
- Safety & Performance Management: Ensure safe operation of all machinery and implement improvements to enhance performance and reliability.
- Technical Support: Assist the Production Manager as a technical adviser, addressing technical concerns related to the production process.
- Quality Support: Actively participate in quality‑related issues, providing technical and engineering solutions to production challenges.
- Performance Reporting: Provide accurate, periodic feedback to Acme Monaco Corporation Engineering on the performance and operational status of new machinery.
- Infrastructure Preparation: Ensure supporting infrastructure is ready for new machinery, including power conversion (e.g., 110V for U.S. equipment), air piping, cable management, and machinery platforms.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform additional tasks assigned by the Production Manager or Directors, as required to support operations and technical efficiency.
What we're looking for
- Relevant technical qualification or training in the manufacturing or mechanical industry.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Technician or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment and machinery issues.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams accurately.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, collaborating effectively with production, operations, and engineering teams.
- Commitment to health, safety, and environmental regulations, ensuring safe and compliant operations.
- Hands‑on experience in mechanical work, car repair, spring manufacturing, screw production, and plastic inspection machines is an advantage.
