Job description

Overview

To assist Shift Engineer in operations and maintenance of building Mechanical & Electrical Services; Fire Protection System and Capital Equipment.

Responsibilities

• To assist Shift Engineer in operations, maintenance of building Mechanical & Electrical Services; Fire Protection System and Capital Equipment.
• To carry out Preventive/Corrective maintenance work.
• Attend to complaints from guestrooms/public areas and back of house.
• Perform rectification to electrical/mechanical equipment, and general builder work.
• To monitor and record daily operation conditions of firefighting equipment and conduct routine check on Fire Command Centre and to attend to fire alarms activation.
• To keep maintenance areas in clean and orderly condition. Ensure tools & equipment in good condition.
• To prepare adequate stock of repair parts supplies for shift operation.
• Taking utilities consumption reading.
• Keep record of all complaints log on daily work sheet upon job completion.
• To perform other duties as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Higher Nitec/Secondary School/"O" Level in Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field.
