  • Help to assess and implement encryption and security hardening solutions (e.g., PKI, HSM, secure transport protocols) to protect data in transit and at rest.
  • Assist in project planning and implementation, including hardened system migrations, routine maintenance of security appliances, and keeping technical documentation updated.
  • Support on-site security operations in Data Centers and IT environments, including secure setup of servers/switches and handling security-related helpdesk escalations.
  • Carry out infrastructure rollout tasks such as installation and “burn-in” testing, and support capacity planning with consideration for encryption and monitoring overhead.
  • Work with vendors and internal teams to ensure hardware/software deliveries meet security and compliance needs (e.g., genuine parts, patched firmware, proper documentation).
Requirements
  • Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber/Network Security, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in network/security or infrastructure environments (network security, firewalls, or basic cryptography implementation preferred).
  • Hands-on experience configuring switches and VLANs securely to separate and protect critical traffic.
  • Basic to intermediate experience hardening and configuring server environments such as Linux/Windows Server (AIX/Solaris is a plus).
  • Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network/server hardware in Data Centers, offices, or remote sites.
  • Familiarity with endpoint protection tools (e.g., Trend Micro) is an advantage.
  • Interest in security best practices and standards such as CIS Benchmarks or NIST, and awareness of emerging cyber threats.
