Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a small team of tax professionals across a portfolio of corporate tax clients.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and review of tax engagements to ensure quality and compliance.
• Deliver comprehensive tax advisory and compliance services, including on complex matters such as restructuring and cross-border transactions.
• Act as the engagement lead, responsible for project planning, budgeting, and delivery.
• Collaborate closely with directors on engagement strategy, technical issues, and client management.
• Develop and maintain long‑term client relationships, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Conduct internal and external seminars or training sessions on corporate tax topics.

Requirements:

• A recognized degree in Accountancy or a professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA Australia, SCTP, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in corporate tax, preferably with a large or mid‑tier international accounting firm.
• Experience with tax assignments in the shipping industry is an added advantage.
• Strong technical knowledge of Singapore corporate tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
