Job summary

A leading education centre in Singapore is seeking a Tutor to deliver engaging 1 to 1 lessons. The ideal candidate should be confident in teaching at least one subject such as Math, Science, Chemistry, Biology, or Economics. No prior teaching experience is required as training will be provided. The role involves maintaining a positive environment and assisting with centre operations. Working days are six days a week, with a salary range of $2300 - $3800 depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
• Able to teach at least one subject confidently: Math / Science / Chemistry / Biology / Economics.
• No prior teaching experience required – training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1 to 1 engaging lessons based on the centre's syllabus.
• Teach primary / secondary / JC students adjusted to your strength.
• Provide feedback and progress updates to parents when needed.
• Help prepare students for exams.
• Maintain a positive and disciplined environment.
• Assist with simple centre operations when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver 1 to 1 engaging lessons based on the centre’s syllabus and materials.
• Teach primary / secondary / JC students (level can be adjusted based on your strength).
• Provide feedback and simple progress updates to parents when needed.
• Help prepare students for school exams and major exams.
• Maintain a positive, encouraging and disciplined environment.
• Assist with simple centre operations (e.g. admin, arranging materials) when required.
