Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead specialized in SATCOM System Integration. The ideal candidate plays a critical role in local presales and projects solutioning and implementation. The candidate will provide technical expertise, solution design, and system implementation to potential clients. This role requires technical knowledge in end-to-end solution involving satellite communication systems, as well as excellent communication and problem solving skills.

• Responsible for design, integrate and commissioning of Satellite Communication (SATCOM) and Network System
• Understand contractual and project requirements and specifications, propose and generate (SATCOM) system architecture and designs
• Perform detailed technical analysis and verifications to validate system design and implementation
• Conduct design reviews presentations with customers
• Perform proof of concepts and support overseas trials or demos
• Responsible for SATCOM system and network configurations, acceptance, interface and performance testing and commissioning of SATCOM systems
• Perform root cause analysis & rectify technical issues
• Provide up-to-date project documentation and reports
• Keeping up with market trends

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma and minimum working experience of 6 years in SATCOM or related industry
• Experience in large scale project implementation and delivery
• Experience with iDirect or any other modem brands is preferred
• Experience with SATCOM terminals and RF equipment
• Able to do link budget analysis
• Experience with test tool/ equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer and Network Tester
• Demonstrated basic troubleshooting skills and analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
• Pro‑active, dynamic and with good analytical/conceptual skills
• Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work independently as well as in a team, and deliver results to meet timelines
• Working location is in Ang Mo Kio
