System Analyst (Wholesale Banking – Data Domain)

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced System Analyst with strong Wholesale Banking domain knowledge (Financing Solutions, Trade Services, Cash & Liquidity, Treasury) and solid techno-functional experience in the data domain. The role involves requirement gathering, data solutioning, data modelling, and close collaboration with business and tech teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document requirements across Wholesale Banking, Retail Banking, and Global Markets.
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Design and validate data models (Teradata FSDM, Dimensional Models, Reporting Tables).
• Perform data profiling using SQL and validate data across large datasets.
• Map data attributes from key banking systems including:
• Silverlake, FITAS Trade Finance, Murex, SAP GL.
• Prepare documentation: BRD, FSD, solution design, training guides.
• Execute data validation, SIT/UAT test scenarios, and ensure solution quality.
• Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience as a Functional BA / System Analyst in Banking (Wholesale Banking preferred).
• Strong techno-functional skills in data architecture, data analysis, and data mapping.
• Good understanding of Wholesale Banking products and processes.
• Experience in SQL, data profiling, and large-scale data validation.
• Familiarity with systems such as Core Banking, Murex, Trade Finance and SAP GL.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of AML/CFT, fraud risk, compliance frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in data governance, data quality, or metadata management.
• Knowledge of banking regulatory requirements.
• Exposure to Agile ways of working.
• Certifications such as CBAP, DAMA, or equivalent.
