Job summary

A leading food supply company in Singapore is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee the entire supply chain process. You will be responsible for procurement, inventory management, and ensuring seamless operations from product sourcing to delivery. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. Overview

You will be responsible for maintaining sufficient supply to meet demands, sourcing the products, managing suppliers, coordinating the movement of goods, and monitoring inventory, to ensure efficient andcost-effective operations throughout the supply chain. This role requires strong coordination skills, hands-on problem-solving, and the ability to work cross-functionally to ensure smooth flow from purchasing to ready to delivery.

Job Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, execute, and monitor the supply chain process from product management, product procurement, to product shipment to ensure alignment with the demand of the company
  • Perform procurement activities, including sourcing, assessing offers, negotiating, and arranging shipments.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize storage costs by monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages or over stock.
  • Control and define product specifications, requirements, manage product costing and pricing.
  • Collaborate closely with external parties and internal teams to ensure seamless goods movement, and product readiness.
  • Prepare regular reports on supply chain performance, inventory status and project updates.
  • Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance cost efficiency, lead time, and supply reliability.
  • Perform any other duties related to supply chain management as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Business Admin or Supply Chain Mgmt, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain with exposure to international sourcing and purchasing.
  • Proactive, resourceful, dynamic and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Strong analytical, detail-oriented and negotiation skills.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess strong leadership qualities and a collaborative team player.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Working Hours

8am to 5.30pm (Monday to Friday)
