Job summary

A Singapore-based cleaning services company is seeking a team leader to supervise and evaluate workers' performance. The ideal candidate will lead hands-on tasks such as cleaning and maintenance, and must be willing to work weekends and public holidays. Required qualifications include a diploma and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. Good interpersonal skills are essential. The salary is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and evaluate workers' performance and keep accurate records of workers' attendance; assist the site operation manager
  • Lead a team of workers; work hands-on with the team to carry out assigned tasks (washing of toilets, mopping, vacuuming, jetting, scraping and washing of mirrors) within the time schedule
  • Remain contactable by phone at any time, including weekends and public holidays
  • Communicate with management and workers; respond to customer complaints and requests
  • Carry out routine checks of machinery and perform minor repairs; report to the operation manager if major repairs or replacements are required
  • Work on weekends and public holidays as required
  • Monitor all works to ensure compliance with safety procedures
  • Salary is commensurate with working experience and qualifications
Qualifications
  • Diploma holder’s preferred
