Job summary

A well-regarded educational firm in Singapore seeks a Student Care Teacher to guide primary school students with their homework and educational needs. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or higher qualifications along with at least 2 years of teaching experience. Responsibilities include implementing program guidelines, maintaining classroom resources, and building relationships with children and parents. This position offers a fixed shift from 10am to 7pm, Monday to Friday, with a salary range of $2,000 to $2,900.

Job Requirement

• Diploma or higher in any discipline with minimum of 2 years of teaching experience with primary school students with primary school subjects.

Job Description

• Implement the program for the class in accordance with the policies, guidelines, framework and philosophy of the centre.
• Guide primary school children (primary 1 to 6) to ensure completion of daily homework.
• Keep accurate records of children’s progress and address each child’s educational and developmental needs on an individual basis to the best of your ability.
• Responsible for the preparation and upkeep of teaching resources, arrangement, appearance and learning environment of the classroom.
• Responsible for the development and execution of school holiday programmes (inclusive of lesson plans) and learning journeys.
• To assist other trainers in implementing the program for their classes should the need arises.
• Maintain and build relationships with children and parents. Daily and prompt responses to parents on the app and weekly updates of children (Academics, social and emotional development) on the app.
• Conduct centre’s enrichment programmes.
• Ensure safety and timely transfer of students from school to student centre.
• Ensure safety of children within the premises.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as delegated by Centre Manager / Centre Director.
