Job summary

A leading biopharmaceutical firm in Singapore is seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee sourcing and purchasing for a new greenfield site. In this role, you will manage procurement activities including vendor selection, contract negotiations, and ensure compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of procurement experience, strong communication skills in English and Mandarin, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain. This position offers an opportunity to implement best practices and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ procurement experience in a construction/manufacturing environment.
• Experience with chemical materials, industrial equipment or laboratory instruments.
• Greenfield project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement for the new Singapore site.
• Manage contracts and commercial change control.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships.
• Implement procurement best practices and process improvements.
• Support customs and logistics coordination.
