Job summary

CALL LADE LOGISTICS PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a results-driven Business Development professional in Singapore. You will identify opportunities in logistics and supply chain sectors, engage clients, understand requirements, and prepare proposals.

You will negotiate terms, build strong relationships, and collaborate with Operations to fulfill client needs. Ideal candidates have strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, plus the ability to work independently and in teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing or a related field.
• Relevant experience in business development, sales, logistics or transportation is preferred.
• Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented.
• Able to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with Operations and internal departments.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the logistics, transportation and supply chain sectors.
• Source and engage potential clients through calls, meetings, networking and business referrals.
• Understand clients’ logistics requirements and propose suitable service solutions.
• Prepare quotations, business proposals, presentations and tender submissions.
• Negotiate pricing, service terms and commercial agreements with clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Work closely with the Operations team to ensure that clients’ requirements can be fulfilled effectively.
• Monitor service performance and follow up on customer feedback or operational issues.
• Conduct market research and monitor competitors, industry developments and customer needs.
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by management.
