Job summary

ST Engineering is seeking a strategic HR Business Partner in Singapore to deliver full-cycle HR support to a large business unit. You will partner with leaders and HR COEs to shape people strategy, implement HR initiatives and drive functional excellence.

You will lead workforce planning, performance and compensation reviews, and build robust internal capabilities while supporting global mobility and organizational development. A strong background in manufacturing or aerospace HR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of Human Resources experience.
• Strong knowledge of Human Resources practices and demonstrated ability to provide HR solutions in a fast-paced and complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the leadership team to support multiple Line of Business/ Business Units to support the strategy for business growth for workforce size of 1000+.
• Build effective relationships with all levels of the organisation, providing guidance and coaching on employee relations, performance and development issues.
• Collaborate with Corporate Level HR Centre of Excellence (COEs) in providing local market intelligence and practices in reviewing and formulating practical employee value propositions, sound HR programs, strategies, framework, and guidelines in all areas of HR functions to attract, groom and retain talents to support business growth.
• Understand the internal and external customer environment, needs and expectations, thereafter work out practical value-add solutions to close gaps and support business growth.
• Lead and support organizational development and transformational strategies including change management, AI, coaching, employee engagement and/or other necessary strategies.
• Drive annual performance review and Compensation and Benefit review.
• Manage, inspire and develop the internal HR capabilities and bench strength.
• Support Global Mobility for overseas assignments.
• Play a critical role in workforce planning and talent succession planning - Collaborate with senior business leaders to identify long-term talent and capabilities needed to deliver the business strategy.
