Job description

Our client, a reputable social service agency, is seeking a highly proactive Strategic Assistant to support their Senior Leadership Team. This newly created role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth operations, strategic execution, and effective stakeholder engagement as the organization embarks on a growth phase over the next five years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Senior Leadership Team office operations, including documentation, protocols, and administrative workflows

  • Coordinate and manage Senior Leadership Team schedules and key meetings, including pre-meeting preparation (agendas, factsheets) and post-meeting follow-ups

  • Represent the Senior Leadership Team in meetings, handle visitor management, logistics, and program administration

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies and foundations

  • Support strategic initiatives by tracking KPIs, managing special grants, submitting grant applications, monitoring outcomes, and collaborating with Finance on budgeting

  • Facilitate communication and coordination with immediate stakeholders, including government and partner organizations

Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of work experience

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly with government-related personnel

  • Proactive, resourceful, and a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills

  • Technology savvy with proficiency in relevant office tools

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field preferred
