Job summary

A leading chemical manufacturing company in Singapore is looking for a dedicated individual to manage warehouse inventory and support chemical delivery systems. The ideal candidate will possess a Nitec in Engineering and 1-2 years of industry experience. Responsibilities include maintaining proper storage standards, ensuring chemical safety compliance, and managing chemical containers. This is a fixed-term contract role with requirements for chemical safety training and forklift operation.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of working experience in the chemical manufacturing industry.
  • Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the warehouse inventory to meet customer requirements.
  • Manage inbound and outbound chemical containers.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping standards in all areas managed.

Job description
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the warehouse inventory to meet customer requirements.
  • Receive chemicals from suppliers and issue chemicals to support chemical delivery systems requirements.
  • Manage inbound and outbound chemical containers.
  • Receive and dispose empty drums/totes and wastes.
  • Store chemicals and waste according to requirements.
  • Responsible for achieving uninterrupted supply of chemical to customer’s point-of-use at customers’ site.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping standard in all areas managed by TCM.
  • Perform operations in line with site Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety standards.
  • Always abide to all SOPs and Safety protocols ensuring high level of QSHE standards.
  • Any other assignments given by Supervisors/Managers.

*Always abide all EHS rules and regulations at all times. Compliance to Legal and Customer rules and regulations

Education, Experience and Other Information
  • Nitec in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering or related fields / “O” levels
  • 1-2 years of working experience in chemical manufacturing industry
  • Computer literacy: MS Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Trained and certified in Chemical Safety and Emergency Response
  • Must possess forklift license
  • Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • This is a fixed-term contract role
