Job summary

A healthcare provider in Singapore is seeking a registered nurse for Cath Lab and clinic responsibilities. Candidates must have a diploma or above and be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board. Responsibilities include preparing patients for catheterization, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with procedures. The role requires flexibility for on-call duties and excellent interpersonal skills. Experience in Angio/Cath Lab procedures is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

Cath Lab responsibilities will include:



  • Preparing patients for catheterization procedures by explaining the process and obtaining informed consent

  • Monitoring patients' vital signs and comfort levels throughout the procedure

  • Assisting cardiologists with instruments, equipment, and procedural support

  • Administering medications as required

  • To assist in procedures and prepare the various instrument trolleys required in various interventional procedures

  • Accurately recording patient assessments, vital signs, medications, procedures performed, and any changes in the patient’s condition


Clinic responsibilities will include:



  • Giving medications (oral, injections, IVs), administering vaccinations, wound care and etc

  • Drawing blood, taking urine samples, or performing other diagnostic tests as required

  • Answering phone calls, responding to patient inquiries and scheduling follow-up appointments

  • Ensuring that medical supplies are stocked, maintaining equipment, and ordering necessary supplies

  • Collecting medical histories, and documenting vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, height and weight

  • Assisting patients with or preparing them for interventional procedures like angioplasty and or catheterization


Job Requirements


  • Must be registered with Singapore Nursing Board

  • Diploma certificateand above

  • Able to work 5.5 days (Saturday half day) - Heart Specialist Centre

  • Willing to do on-calls duties

  • Good interpersonal skills with a pleasant personality

  • Able to work in a dynamic environment as well as being flexible and open to changes

  • Prefer candidate with Angio / Cath Lab procedures experience

  • Candidate with ICU / Post Surgery Ward / A&E experience are welcomed to apply
