Job summary

A well-established engineering company in Singapore is looking for a candidate to develop technical proposals and perform system testing. The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, along with knowledge of AutoCAD/BIM, HVAC, and related systems. Training is available for those with less experience. Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or its equivalent.
• Possess basic knowledge of AutoCAD/BIM tools, HVAC, BMS, CRAC, or building systems technical support is an advantage.
• Training Provided for those lesser experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and submit comprehensive technical proposals, compliance matrices, datasheets, and tender documentation.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and client requirements to ensure solution alignment.
• Conduct site surveys, gather critical data, and perform technical evaluations for system design.
• Select optimal products/systems based on technical feasibility and client needs.
• Execute system testing, commissioning, and performance validation.

Skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and submit comprehensive technical proposals, compliance matrices, datasheets, and tender documentation.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and client requirements to ensure solution alignment.
• Coordinate with project teams and consultants to validate technical submissions against specifications.

Pre-Sales Engineering & Solution Design

• Conduct site surveys, gather critical data, and perform technical evaluations for system design.
• Select optimal products/systems based on technical feasibility and client needs.
• Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations to clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare quotation.

Testing, Commissioning & Issue Resolution

• Execute system testing, commissioning, and performance validation.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex product/system issues (hardware/software).
• Develop alternative solutions for product limitations or field failures.

Technical Documentation & Knowledge Management

• Generate incident analysis reports, equipment records, and maintenance documentation.
• Maintain accurate hardware/software databases and compliance trackers.
• Deliver product training to clients and internal teams.

Collaboration & Innovation

• Provide proactive technical updates to cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering, PMO).
• Support product innovation and improvement initiatives.
• Attend project meetings and client technical reviews.

Job Requirements:
