Roles & Responsibilities
Overview

As a Solar Supervisor, you will support the Operations Manager in overseeing and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of solar panel installation activities.

Responsibilities
  1. Carry out processes for the installation of solar panel systems.
  2. Conduct energy audits and assessments to ensure solar panel installations follow regulations.
  3. Document existing defects and other building conditions.
  4. Guide the testing and commissioning of solar panels and grounding systems while ensuring the proper use of certified safety equipment.
  5. Lead site inspections and oversee the installation of solar panels, communication systems, and lightning protection systems.
  6. Lead in the resolution of potential hazards.
  7. Monitor the costs incurred and risks involved with solar panel systems projects.
  8. Perform computer simulations of solar panel energy generation to review efficiency.
  9. Prepare documents and project progress reports for key stakeholders.
  10. Prepare work permit approval materials, risk assessments and safety measures for solar panel installations, and technical equipment specifications for procurement.
  11. Propose technical, civil and mechanical details for solar panel systems.
  12. Provide input for the development of project plans with construction details and approved permits.
  13. Review the progress of various projects.
Requirements
  1. Diploma in mechanical, electronic, or similar fields is highly advantageous.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in the Solar Photovoltaic industry.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  4. Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating hands‑on proficiency with industry‑specific systems.
  5. Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively convey information to customers and team members.
  7. Able to work on weekends to meet urgent job requirements.
