Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail‑oriented Test Lead to lead our testing team. The Test Lead will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all testing activities to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands‑on testing experience, and a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, including support during night and after‑office hours when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the testing team to deliver high‑quality software releases within deadlines.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned with project requirements.
• Coordinate and oversee functional, regression, performance, and automation testing activities.
• Ensure test coverage and traceability through requirement mapping and risk‑based testing approaches.
• Monitor and report on test progress, defects, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide testers and promote best testing practices within the team.
• Facilitate defect triage meetings and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate testing activities with external vendors or partners when applicable.
• Provide support for night and after‑office hour testing activities as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role leading end‑to‑end testing for medium to large‑scale projects in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Experience in large scale projects testing and commissioning in the transport/traffic management domain (especially enterprise‑wide Traffic Management System related) would be advantageous.
• Strong experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Quality Centre, TestRail).
• Hands‑on expertise in automation testing tools such as Selenium, UFT, or similar is a plus.
• Experience in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Excellent knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and deliver results under pressure.
• Experience in performance testing and automation testing is advantageous.
