Job description

We are looking for a passionate and professional Software Specialist to join our Digital Factory team.

Based in Singapore and reporting into the Senior Manager, Omni-Channel Technology, the incumbent will be responsible for the planning, analysis, detailed design, developing code, unit testing, fixing bugs and implementation of development and/or enhancements, and to ensure the overall functionality of product against pre‑defined requirements. He/she will ensure quality deliverables within the agreed timeline, budget and within corporate policies and guidelines, as well as statutory/legal/regulatory requirements.

However, we also recognize that each individual has a unique blend of skills. Whether your strength is in frontend development or in delivery experience for web and mobile frontend, we want to talk to you.

What You’ll Do
  • You will design, develop, configure, test, deploy and maintain web, mobile and microservice applications for Projects/enhancements in accordance with specific requirements and best practices.
  • You will support end user testing and support the testing in SIT/UAT/PreProd, as needed.
  • You will provide 24/7 application on‑call support when required.
  • You will work with our respective stakeholders to understand and resolve support issues as required.
  • You will test code for enhancements/bug fixes to ensure compliance quality assurance policy requirements and best practices.
  • You will develop technical and user documentation for both internal and external distribution.
  • You will report to appropriate stakeholders on the progress and status of the Projects/enhancements.
  • You will communicate with stakeholders on the enhancements and incidents to manage expectations, priorities and constraints to deliver the enhancements and fixes.
Who You Are
  • You have Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any IT-related degree.
  • You have experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within an Agile environment.
  • You are skilled in developing and maintaining mobile applications and microservices.
  • You are proficient in Java (Spring Boot 3), Dart (Flutter), PostgreSQL, and server‑side API development.
  • You have hands‑on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration, deployment, scaling, and management.
  • You have experience in integrating with Kong API Gateway and Keycloak for authentication and authorization.
  • You have solid experience in writing and executing unit tests, system test plans, and test cases.
  • You have experience in native Android and iOS development is an advantage.
  • You have experience in building responsive web front‑end interfaces using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as ReactJS is an advantage.
  • You have knowledge of testing methodologies, standards, and automated testing tools is an advantage.
  • You have experience in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and production support.
  • You are proficient with Git and other version control systems.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • You are highly motivated self‑starter and team player with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
